CT Technologist – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week contract in a busy imaging department serving a diverse patient population including trauma and stroke cases.

Shift & Schedule

  • Day shifts: 2x12-hour blocks (9:00 AM – 9:30 PM), Saturdays and Sundays
  • Flexibility required to shift to 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM when needed
  • No on-call duties
  • Block scheduling cannot be accommodated

Requirements

  • ARRT (R) certification and BLS required at time of submission
  • Minimum 1 year of CT experience
  • Valid state license or certification
  • Valid references and copies of certifications required
  • Pre-start compliance must be completed on time (no planned time off)
  • RTO (Ready to Offer) submission required upfront

Preferred Qualifications

  • ARRT (CT) certification
  • 2+ years of CT work experience
  • First-time travelers encouraged to apply

Clinical Scope

You'll perform routine CT examinations across multiple body regions (head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities) with and without contrast. You'll also gain experience in CT-guided interventional procedures, including abscess drainages. The patient population spans adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics with varied diagnoses including trauma and acute care presentations.

Key Skills

3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction, contrast administration, radiation safety, and proficiency with PACS systems.

Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered). COVID-19 vaccine not required.
