Interventional Radiology Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Interventional Radiology (IR) unit. This is a day-shift role (7:00 AM–3:00 PM) supporting a busy procedural service. The 13-week contract offers 36 guaranteed hours per week with no weekends or on-call requirements.
Unit & Clinical Scope
You'll work in a focused IR setting performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, port placements, and permanent catheter placements. The team consists of 2 RNs and 1 IR tech during the day shift, working closely with the radiologist.
Requirements
- Current RN license
- Moderate sedation experience required. If you are not yet certified, the facility will provide training and certification during your assignment.
- Interventional Radiology experience is preferred but not required.
- Professional, collaborative demeanor
