Emergency Room RN — Night Shift | Mission, TX

This 13-week contract places you in a freestanding emergency department in Mission, TX, delivering high-acuity emergency care on nights.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required

Clinical Scope

The unit manages a fast-paced emergency patient population requiring rapid assessment and intervention. Common procedures and responsibilities include:

• Emergency and patient monitoring
• Point-of-care lab testing
• Trauma response
• Management of precipitous deliveries
• Emergency protocols: code blue, stroke, STEMI, and sepsis

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of FSED/ED experience
• Demonstrated proficiency with difficult IV access, large-bore IVs, blood cultures, and patient monitoring
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

Required Certifications

BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, NIHSS, CPI

Float

May float to other FSED/ED areas as needed.
