Cardiac Cath Lab Tech – Asheville, NC
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for its cardiac catheterization laboratory. This is a 13-week contract role in a high-volume interventional cardiology program.
Schedule & Requirements
- Shift: 07:00–17:30, four 10-hour days per week
- On-call: Every fifth weekend (Saturday 7am–Monday 7am)
- Dress Code: Surgical green scrubs
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Must-Have Qualifications
- RCIS or ARRT certification
- 1 year of recent EP (electrophysiology) experience
- PICC line experience
- ACLS/BLS certification
Clinical Role
Equipment & Environment
The lab is equipped with X-ray, PACS, MAC lab systems, and iSTAT capabilities. You'll work alongside experienced nurses and physicians in a fast-paced, procedurally focused setting.
