Emergency Department RN — Cypress, TX

Night Shift | 13-Week Contract

The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift contract position (19:00–07:00). This is a fast-paced ED environment managing a broad range of acute presentations, including stroke (tPA administration), STEMI care, lacerations, orthopedic injuries, and cardiac arrest.

Schedule & Contract Details

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Start Date: November 2, 2026
• Weekend rotation required; no on-call obligation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience (required)
• Active RN license applicable to Texas
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications (all required)

Preferred Clinical Skills

• tPA administration
• STEMI recognition and care
• Laceration repair
• Orthopedic injury management

Unit Details

• Role: Bedside RN
• Float requirements: None
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs
