Emergency Department RN — Conroe, TX
This travel RN opportunity places you in a fast-paced Emergency Department working an evening/night shift (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM) in Conroe, TX. The contract runs 13 weeks with a November 2026 start date and 36 guaranteed hours per week.
Unit & Clinical Scope
The ED manages a broad acuity range of emergency patients across a busy shift structure. Clinical responsibilities include:
- NIH stroke assessments
- IV placement and blood draws
- Moderate sedation
- Cardiac monitoring
- Ventilator and BiPAP/CPAP management
- Rapid infuser utilization
The unit is staffed with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, charge nurses, paramedics, and LVNs across all shifts.
Schedule
- Shift: 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Floating: Not required
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- TNCC *(also preferred prior to placement)*
Preferred Certifications
- ENPC
