Travel RN – Postpartum | Wichita, KS

Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Contract Duration: 13 weeks | Guaranteed Hours: 36/week

This high-acuity postpartum unit focuses exclusively on complex, high-risk mother-baby couplets, with low-risk deliveries managed at a separate off-site location. The unit operates at a high volume, supporting a facility that delivers between 400–500 babies per month. You'll join a close-knit, team-oriented group of nurses and PCTs in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Scheduling is flexible and leadership is committed to working with travelers.

Clinical Scope & Procedures:

• POC glucose monitoring
• Breastfeeding support and education
• Postpartum hemorrhage management
• Hypertension assessment and management
• Circumcision assistance

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care postpartum hospital experience
• Active BLS and NRP certifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• High-risk postpartum experience
• Level 2 Nursery experience
