Cardiovascular Operating Room Surgical Technologist
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Surgical Technologist for a 13-week contract in Atlanta, GA.
Schedule & Hours
- 4 × 10-hour shifts per week (40 hours/week average)
- Weekday shifts: 5 PM–11 PM and 11 PM–7 AM
- Weekend and holiday shifts: 7 AM–7 PM and 7 PM–7 AM
- One Friday, one Saturday, and one Sunday shift per rotation (shifts need not be consecutive)
- Holiday rotation required, including weekends surrounding holidays
- Approximately 70+ hours per four-week period (may vary)
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist
- Ability to float to General OR as needed
- Flexibility with rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
Clinical Environment
You'll support the cardiovascular surgical team in a fast-paced OR setting, assisting with cardiac procedures and collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
