Telemetry Nurse – Travel Assignment
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Telemetry Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in the Atlanta area.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Day shift assignment
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of nursing experience
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Georgia or compact state nursing license
- Strong experience with mechanical ventilators
- Demonstrated competency with tracheostomies and chest tubes
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac patient care
- Travel nursing background preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- NIHSS certification or willingness to obtain
- Remote tele-interpretation capabilities
- Experience in fast-paced, acute-care environments
What You'll Do
You'll provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms, managing ventilator-dependent patients, and caring for patients with complex airway and thoracic needs. The role involves independent assessment, timely intervention, and collaboration with the interprofessional team.
