Critical Care Telemetry – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Critical Care Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. You'll provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit managing acutely ill patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and advanced respiratory support.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: Night (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of critical care experience
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Georgia or compact state nursing license
- Strong ventilator management skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with tracheostomies and chest tubes
- Competency in telemetry interpretation and cardiac monitoring
What You'll Do
You'll care for patients on continuous telemetry monitoring, manage ventilated patients, monitor hemodynamic status, and respond to acute changes. Your responsibilities will include tracheostomy and chest tube care, medication administration, and close collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
