Emergency Department RN — Corpus Christi, TX

13-Week Contract | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 36 Hours Guaranteed/Week

This fast-paced Emergency Department manages a high volume of acute and critical presentations, with a strong focus on neurological and cardiac cases. The unit is recognized for exceptional door-to-needle TPA times and efficient patient throughput — a team that takes pride in performance.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing STEMI activations, stroke/TPA protocols, and RSI procedures
• Caring for a diverse ED patient population across a range of acuity levels
• Collaborating with an experienced, tenured team of RNs and support staff

Shift Details

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Typical staffing includes 5–7 RNs per day shift alongside ER techs and unit secretarial support

Required Certifications & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in an Emergency Department setting
• Active BLS, ACLS, TNCC, CPI, and ENPC or PALS

Preferred Skills

• Strong neuro and cardiac assessment and intervention experience
• Ability to thrive in a high-energy, high-volume environment

Dress Code

• Royal blue scrubs preferred (not required)
• No competing brand logos or emblems
