Med Surg Float Pool RN – 16-Week Contract
The Role
Join the medical-surgical float pool at the facility in Rochester, NY. You'll rotate between medical-surgical telemetry units, providing care to acute patients across multiple clinical areas. This is an ideal opportunity for nurses who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy variety in their patient assignments.
Schedule & Hours
- 12-hour shifts: 7 PM–7 AM with day/night rotation flexibility
- 36 hours per week
- 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
- Minimum 1 holiday shift required during the contract
- Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed
Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- 2 years of recent acute med-surg/telemetry experience in a hospital
- 2 years of U.S. work experience (required for international candidates)
- Residency: Must live more than 50 miles from the facility
- Willingness to float between units based on facility needs
- Flexibility to adjust to scheduling changes

- Charge nurse skills requested but not required
