Respiratory Therapist — Nights | West Burlington, IA

13-Week Contract | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed

This night-shift Respiratory Therapist role supports a broad patient population — from neonates through geriatric patients — across a full spectrum of respiratory care modalities.

Shift Details

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• On-call required once per scheduling period
• May be asked to cover other shifts as needed
• One mandatory low-census shift per week may be implemented depending on patient volume

Clinical Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and manage patients with breathing disorders across all acuity levels
• Initiate and conduct therapeutic respiratory procedures
• Supervise respiratory care students as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Select, assemble, and operate respiratory care equipment

Patient Population

Neonate, Infant, Toddler, School Age, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric

Required Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist license/certification
• Electronic health record experience within the last 12 months required
• Skills checklist completion required for onboarding

Preferred Qualifications

• Some pediatric experience preferred

Onboarding Requirements

Standard health verifications including TB test, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza and COVID-19 vaccines, fit test, color vision screening, background check, and drug screen.
