ICU/CCU Travel Nurse — West Burlington, IA

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 36 hours/week (overtime possible)

Contract Duration: 13 weeks | Start Date: November 9, 2026

This ICU-CCU unit provides high-acuity nursing care to adult patients with complex cardiac, neurological, and vascular conditions. Patient populations include adult cardiac/telemetry, stroke, vascular intervention, and hemodynamic monitoring cases.

What to Expect:

• Apply the full nursing process — assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation — in close collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Every other weekend rotation and every other holiday required
• Occasional on-call during low census periods; if called in, must be able to arrive on-site within one hour

Pre-Assignment Requirement:

Candidates must self-study telemetry strips upon acceptance. A Basic Dysrhythmia test will be administered during the first week of the assignment and must be passed to work on the ICU-CCU units.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Active RN license (state-appropriate)
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Required Experience:

• Recent ICU or comparable high-acuity unit experience
• Charting system experience in a like unit within the last 12 months

Standard Health & Compliance Requirements:

Influenza vaccine, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, TB test, drug screen, background check, and fit test required prior to start.
