Telemetry Float Pool Nurse – 12-Hour Night Shift
Position Overview
This is a 13-week float pool nursing position based in Oxnard, CA, providing care across multiple acute-care units. You'll work nights (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.) with every-other-weekend rotation built into your schedule.
Primary Assignment: Telemetry Unit
Float Responsibilities
You'll rotate to other units within the facility and to a sister location 9 miles away, assuming telemetry or med-surg assignments as needed. You may also float to the emergency department for tele/med-surg holds. Orientation includes one shift on your home unit, then one shift on each additional unit you'll cover.
Requirements
- Current RN license (California)
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications
- 2–3 years of nursing experience (travel experience preferred)
- Demonstrated competency with IV drips and strip reading
- Chest tube experience preferred
- Positive, compassionate approach to patient care

- Shift: 12 hours, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Weekend requirement: 4 shifts per 4-week schedule
- Guaranteed hours: 36/week
- Scrubs: Navy
- Hospital may cancel up to 3–4 shifts per assignment
