RN – Night Shift | 13-Week Assignment
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated, high-quality care on a busy night shift. You'll assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, supervise nursing staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, compassionate patient outcomes.
Unit & Patient Population
You'll work in an acute care setting managing diverse patient populations across medical-surgical and trauma cases. The role requires strong critical thinking, independent judgment, and the ability to prioritize care in a dynamic environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in California
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Current certifications:
- BLS/CPR
- ACLS
- PALS
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Shift & Schedule
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 hours/week
- Rotating weekends
- 13-week contract
- Start date: October 26, 2026
Essential Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and respond to patient assessment data
- Develop and evaluate care plans; adjust interventions as needed
- Delegate and coordinate nursing team activities
- Collaborate with patients, families, and care team members
- Provide patient and family education
- Participate in discharge planning for continuity of care
- Perform additional duties as assigned
