Stepdown Nursing – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its stepdown unit on a night shift schedule. You'll provide direct patient care in an acute care setting, supporting patients transitioning from intensive monitoring to intermediate-level care.

Shift & Schedule

• Hours: 12-hour nights, 7 PM – 7 AM
• Pattern: Every other weekend, first-to-float
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 9, 2026

Requirements

• Current RN license (state-specific)
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• No BSN required

What to Expect

You'll work in a step-down environment caring for patients who require close monitoring but are medically stable enough for a lower nurse-to-patient ratio than ICU. This role demands strong assessment skills, patient advocacy, and the ability to manage multiple patients while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
