Women's Health / OBGYN Clinic – RN

Position Overview

The facility's busy Women's Health clinic seeks an experienced RN for immediate placement. You'll work in a fast-paced ambulatory setting providing comprehensive care to pregnant patients, particularly those with high-risk pregnancies.

Shift & Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (5×8 hours)
• 13-week contract
• Onsite; will float within the hospital as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple NST (non-stress test) patients simultaneously and perform DVP (Doppler venous pressure) assessments
• Conduct OB intake, , and pregnancy assessments
• Perform pelvic exams, blood glucose monitoring, and patient education
• Assist with procedures involving moderate sedation
• Handle patient calls, follow-ups, and in-basket communications
• Manage care for high-risk pregnant patients, including those with placental abnormalities, ectopic pregnancy, and pregnancy-induced hypertension

Required Qualifications

• Current California RN license
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Basic & Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
• Minimum 4 years' experience with strong L&D and background
• Proficiency with electronic health records
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Preferred

• BSN degree
• AWONN Certification (Intermediate or Advanced)
• IV and oral sedation experience
• Injection experience

Note

Onsite fetal monitoring and DVP ultrasound training will be provided during orientation.
