Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in an acute care setting. You'll provide comprehensive speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive assessments and treatment to a diverse patient population.
Schedule & Assignment Details
- Shift: 10-hour days, every other weekend (EOW)
- Hours: 40 guaranteed hours per week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
Requirements
- California Speech Language Pathology license (required for submission)
- Active BLS certification
- COVID vaccination required
- 2 years of experience in an acute care facility
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred per state regulations
About the Role
You'll work in a Trauma Level 2 acute care facility, supporting patients across multiple service lines. Your responsibilities will include dysphagia evaluations, speech and language therapy, and cognitive rehabilitation. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
