ICU-CCU Travel Nurse | Nights | West Burlington, IA

This 13-week travel assignment places you in an ICU-CCU setting caring for adult patients with complex cardiac, neurological, and vascular needs. The unit manages cardiac/telemetry, stroke, vascular intervention, and hemodynamic monitoring cases.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week; overtime possible
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Every other holiday required
• Occasional on-call during low-census periods; must be able to arrive on-site within one hour if called in

Clinical Requirements

• Active RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Candidates must self-study telemetry strips upon acceptance; a Basic Dysrhythmia test-out is administered during the first week and must be passed to work in the ICU-CCU
• Recent experience in a like unit required

What You'll Do

• Apply the full nursing process — assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
• Manage hemodynamic monitoring and support stroke, vascular, and cardiac patient populations
