Labor and Delivery Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. This is a full-time position offering 36 guaranteed hours per week.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Ceil blue scrubs required
About the Role
You'll join the Labor and Delivery unit, providing direct patient care to women in active labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery. Your scope will include labor monitoring, patient support during delivery, newborn care, and postpartum assessments.
Required Credentials & Licenses
- Current RN license (verification through Nursys required)
- EPLS (Advanced Life Support) certification
- Willingness to complete facility-specific competency assessments and training during onboarding
Onboarding Requirements
Standard facility onboarding includes skills validation, EKG competency, system training, and required immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, TB screening). A background check and drug screen are also required prior to start.
