Labor and Delivery Nurse

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Labor and Delivery nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. This is a full-time position offering 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Shift & Schedule

  • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Cerulean blue scrubs

Clinical Scope

You'll provide direct patient care in a busy labor and delivery unit, supporting expectant mothers through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care. You'll work collaboratively with obstetricians, midwives, and the broader obstetric team to ensure safe, compassionate care for mothers and newborns.

Required Credentials & Licenses

  • Current RN license (verification via Nursys required)
  • EPLS (Emergency Pediatric Life Support) certification
  • Completion of facility-specific competency assessments and skills checklist

Required Health Screenings

  • Current immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap
  • PPD or IGRA (QuantiFERON/T-SPOT) with documentation
  • Fit test certification
  • Health statement and background check

Contract Details

  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Start date: November 1, 2026
  • Guaranteed 36 hours per week
