Labor and Delivery Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Labor and Delivery Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work in a busy L&D unit supporting pregnant patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 1, 2026
Requirements
- Current RN license (Nursys verification required)
- Specialty certification in L&D preferred
- EPLS (Electronic Pediatric Life Support) certification required
- Willingness to complete facility-specific onboarding, including clinical assessments and competency validation
Clinical Scope
You'll provide direct patient care to laboring and postpartum mothers, assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, monitor fetal heart tones, manage labor induction and augmentation, and support immediate newborn care. You'll work as part of a collaborative team including OB/GYN physicians, midwives, and anesthesia.
