Cath Lab Tech – Electrophysiology

Position Overview

The facility's Cath Lab is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech with strong electrophysiology (EP) background. You'll work in a high-volume environment managing three active labs with approximately 15–18 cases per day.

Shift & Schedule

• Four 10-hour rotating shifts: 6:00 AM–4:30 PM or 9:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Call coverage: Approximately 5–6 days per 4-week cycle, with 30-minute response time
• Weekday call runs 4:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• Roughly 1 weekend per month
• Holiday call includes full-day coverage
• Guaranteed: 40 hours per week
• Contract duration: 13 weeks (91 weeks total assignment)

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist physicians with EP procedures (ablations, device work, transeptal procedures, laser lead extractions)
• Monitor and circulate EP cases
• Operate EP recording systems
• Stock rooms and document cases
• Support all cardiology and EP interventions

Required Qualifications

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, WVRT License
• ARRT credentials: ARRT (R), ARRT (CI), or ARRT (VI)
• Experience required:
• Impella, IABP, INARI support
• Electrophysiology procedures (PVC, PT, Cryo, transeptal ablations)
• Device implantation and management
• EP recording systems

Work Environment

• Limited to Cath Lab and EP — no floating to other units
• OR scrubs provided daily
• Unit-specific orientation included
• 2 cancellations permitted per 13-week contract
