Cardiac PCU RN

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for its cardiac progressive care unit (PCU). You'll provide skilled nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions in a stepdown environment, supporting recovery and monitoring for complications.

Schedule & Contract

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
• Days: 3 shifts per week (36 hours)
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Yes

Requirements

• Current RN license (Georgia or compact state)
• Minimum 18 months of cardiac PCU experience
• NIHSS certification required

Clinical Scope

Work alongside an interdisciplinary team managing post-acute cardiac patients. You'll monitor vital signs, administer medications, assess for complications, and support patients transitioning from acute care to discharge or home recovery.
