Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) — Travel Nurse

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced cardiac PCU nurse for a 90-week contract assignment. You'll work three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours) on the day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), providing care to patients in a stepdown cardiac care environment.

Requirements

• 18 months of strong cardiac PCU experience required
• Current Georgia or compact nursing license
• NIHSS certification required
• RN licensure in good standing

What You'll Do

Manage post-acute cardiac patients, including those recovering from interventions and procedures. You'll monitor hemodynamic status, administer medications, perform EKGs, and provide education to patients and families as they transition toward discharge or higher levels of independence.

Schedule & Contract

• 3 × 12-hour shifts per week
• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 hours per week
• 90-week contract with guaranteed hours
• Start date: November 9, 2026
