Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Cardiac PCU nurse for a night shift position. You'll provide direct patient care in a progressive care setting, managing post-acute cardiac patients and those requiring close monitoring and intervention.
Shift & Schedule
- 3 × 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- 36 hours per week
- Guaranteed hours
- 90-week contract
Requirements
- 18+ months of strong Cardiac PCU experience
- Current Georgia or compact nursing license
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification required
Clinical Scope
You'll work with post-cardiac-surgery patients, those requiring telemetry monitoring, and patients with acute cardiac conditions. The role involves assessment, medication administration, equipment management, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team.
