Cardiac PCU Nurse – 90-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nurse for a 90-week travel assignment in Atlanta, GA.

Schedule & Duration

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
• Days per week: 3 shifts
• Total hours: 36 hours/week
• Contract length: 90 weeks
• Guaranteed hours

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of direct cardiac PCU experience
• Current Georgia or compact nursing license (required before start date)
• NIHSS certification
• AM shift availability

Clinical Scope

You'll provide care to post-acute cardiac patients in a progressive care setting, managing telemetry monitoring, post-procedural recovery, and patients transitioning from higher acuity levels. The role offers the opportunity to apply strong assessment and critical thinking skills in a stable, supportive environment.

What to Expect

Three 12-hour AM shifts per week provide predictable scheduling. This assignment values experienced cardiac nurses who bring clinical depth and the ability to mentor within a collaborative team structure.
