Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Cardiac PCU nurse for a 13-week contract assignment on the night shift.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: Night (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Days: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Start Date: November 9, 2026
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of direct cardiac PCU nursing experience
- Current Georgia or compact nursing license
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification required
Unit Details
You'll provide care to post-acute cardiac patients in a stepdown setting, managing patients transitioning from higher acuity levels. The unit focuses on patients with cardiac conditions requiring close monitoring and skilled nursing intervention.
