Oncology Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced oncology nurse for night shift coverage in a busy chemotherapy and infusion unit. This is a 13-week contract role.
Shift Details
- Schedule: 3 × 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Guaranteed hours throughout contract duration
Requirements
- Current RN license (Georgia or Compact state)
- AHA BLS certification
- AHA ACLS certification
- Chemotherapy certification
- Demonstrated IV insertion skills
Clinical Scope
You'll administer chemotherapy and supportive infusions to oncology patients, manage central and peripheral lines, monitor for adverse reactions, and provide symptom management and patient education. Experience with oncology nursing principles and chemotherapy administration is expected.
