Surgery RN – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Surgery RN for a specialized surgical unit. You'll provide direct patient care in a dynamic operating room and surgical floor environment.

Unit Focus

This unit specializes in general surgery, bariatric surgery, and head and neck procedures. You'll care for patients with complex airway management needs, including those with tracheostomies and laryngectomies. This role demands strong surgical nursing skills, critical thinking, and comfort managing post-operative complications.

Schedule & Duration

• Shift: Night (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 9, 2026

Requirements

• Current Georgia or compact nursing license (in hand at time of hire)
• AHA BLS certification
• Proven surgical nursing experience
• Ability to function independently in a fast-paced OR environment

Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures, manage patient safety and positioning, monitor vital signs, anticipate needs, and provide compassionate post-operative care. You'll work alongside a skilled surgical team in a setting that values clinical excellence.
