Medical-Surgical Nurse – 12-Hour Day Shifts
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work three 12-hour day shifts per week (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), totaling 36 hours weekly on a medical-surgical unit.
Requirements
- Current RN license (Georgia or compact state license required)
- Minimum 18 months of med-surg nursing experience
- Demonstrated competency in bladder irrigation and related urological patient care
- Ability to manage the clinical demands of a fast-paced med-surg environment
What You'll Do
You'll provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit, managing post-operative and acute medical patients. Your scope will include wound care, medication administration, patient education, and specialized procedures such as bladder irrigation. You'll work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes.
