Med-Surg Oncology Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced registered nurse for its medical-surgical oncology unit. You'll provide direct patient care to oncology and medical-surgical patients on the night shift.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- 13-week contract with guaranteed hours
Requirements
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Valid RN license in Georgia or compact state
- Minimum 18 months of experience in medical-surgical nursing, telemetry, or oncology
What You'll Do
Deliver bedside care to patients across the oncology and med-surg spectrum, including those receiving chemotherapy, managing post-operative recovery, and those with acute medical conditions. You'll assess patient status, administer medications and treatments, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and support patient and family education.
