Emergency Department Nurse – 13-Week Contract
The Role
Join the emergency department as a staff nurse managing acute and emergent patient cases. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, providing direct patient care, performing assessments, and collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
Schedule
- 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Float assignments to the Clinical Decision Unit as needed
Requirements
- Current RN license (Georgia or compact state)
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NIHSS certification
Contract Details
- 13-week assignment
- Guaranteed hours
- Must be willing to travel within a 50-mile radius
- Non-local candidates only
What We're Looking For
An energetic, adaptable nurse who thrives in high-acuity settings and is comfortable floating between units. Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple patients are essential.
