Emergency Department Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a 13-week contract. You'll work the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in a fast-paced emergency environment, providing direct patient care and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
Shift Details
- Schedule: 3 × 12-hour night shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Every other weekend required
- Float assignments to the Clinical Decision Unit as needed
Requirements
- Current Georgia or compact state RN license
- ACLS certification (current)
- PALS certification (current)
- NIHSS certification (current)
- Willingness to travel within a 50-mile radius
Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 9, 2026
What You'll Do
You'll manage acutely ill and injured patients in a high-volume emergency setting, performing , assessments, and nursing interventions. This role requires flexibility, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
