Pulmonary Nurse – Nights
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a pulmonary-focused nurse to join the nursing team on the night shift. You'll care for patients with pulmonary conditions, managing complex respiratory needs in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Schedule & Duration
- 3 × 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Guaranteed hours
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of pulmonary nursing experience
- Georgia or compact state nursing license (current and in hand)
- Current AHA BLS certification
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency with telehealth interpretation
- Hands-on experience managing tracheostomies and chest tubes
- Prior travel nursing experience
Clinical Scope
You'll provide direct patient care in a pulmonary setting, utilizing telemetry monitoring and managing respiratory interventions. Your expertise in airway management and chest tube care will be essential to the role.
