Telemetry Nurse | Complex Surgical Unit | Atlanta, GA

This 13-week travel contract places you on a complex surgical telemetry unit requiring strong surgical nursing skills and the ability to manage high-acuity, post-operative patients with cardiac monitoring needs.

Shift & Schedule

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
• Start date: November 9, 2026

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of clinical nursing experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Strong surgical skills essential
• Georgia RN license or Compact license
• BLS certification
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred

What to Expect

You'll be working on a unit that combines telemetry monitoring with complex surgical care, so candidates should be comfortable managing post-surgical patients while maintaining proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation. The pace is busy and the acuity is high — strong critical thinking and surgical competency are a must.
