Telemetry Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced telemetry nurse for its acute care unit. You'll monitor and care for patients on cardiac telemetry while managing ventilators, trachs, and chest tubes in a fast-paced environment.
Shift & Schedule
- 3 × 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- 36 hours per week
- Guaranteed hours
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of nursing experience
- Current RN license (Georgia or compact state)
- AHA BLS certification
- Strong ventilator management experience
- Experience with tracheostomies and chest tube care
- Familiarity with cardiac telemetry monitoring and NIHSS assessment
- Travel experience preferred
What You'll Do
Monitor patients on telemetry, respond to arrhythmias and alarms, manage acute respiratory support, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care on a busy night shift.
