Medical-Surgical Travel Nurse – Night Shift | Ranson, WV

This 13-week contract placement is on a Medical-Surgical unit delivering acute inpatient care. The position offers 36 guaranteed hours per week on 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), with rotating weekends and holidays.

Clinical Scope

The unit manages a broad range of adult medical-surgical patients, with clinical focus areas including:

• Continuous bladder irrigation (CBI)
• Wound management
• Patient assessments and catheter care
• Orthopedic patient management

Schedule & Coverage

• 12-hour nights, 7 PM – 7 AM
• Rotating weekends and holidays
• Call is not required
• Occasional floating to a telemetry unit may occur but is not a primary expectation
• Cancellation policy: up to 2 shifts per 13-week period

Requirements

• Active West Virginia or compact state RN license
• BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association)
• Charting experience required
• Address on driver's license must be more than 50 miles from the facility
• BSN not required

Candidates must be able to commit to a single submission within this hospital system at a time. Prior permanent or travel staff at this facility may be subject to a 2-year gap requirement before returning.
