Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. You'll provide direct patient care in a busy obstetric unit, supporting laboring patients, deliveries, and postpartum care.
Shift Details
- Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Start Date: November 2, 2026
- Guaranteed Hours: Yes
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license (Georgia)
- L&D experience preferred
- BLS certification required
Unit Environment
You'll work alongside a collaborative obstetric team managing antepartum, labor, and immediate postpartum patients. Clinical responsibilities include fetal monitoring, labor support, delivery assistance, and postpartum assessment. The unit handles both low-risk and high-risk deliveries.
What to Expect
This is a fast-paced environment with variable patient acuity. Weekend and holiday coverage expectations are standard for this unit. You'll be integrated into the existing team with mentorship and support available.
