Labor & Delivery Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery nurse for a 13-week contract. You'll work the day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) on a 3 × 12-hour schedule, totaling 36 hours per week with guaranteed hours.
About the Role
You'll join a dynamic L&D team delivering compassionate care to laboring patients and their families. Your responsibilities will include:
- Antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patient care
- Fetal monitoring and labor support
- Collaboration with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams
- Patient education and advocacy throughout the birth process
Requirements
- Current RN license (Georgia)
- L&D experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
