Emergency Department Nurse — Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced RN for a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You'll work nights providing direct care to acutely ill and injured patients across all emergency presentations.
Shift & Schedule
- 3 × 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIHSS certification required
- Valid Georgia or compact nursing license
- Trauma experience preferred
- Travel nursing background a plus
Clinical Environment
This is a busy emergency setting where you'll manage a high patient census and varied acuity levels, including trauma cases. You'll perform rapid assessments, initiate emergency interventions, and collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and support staff in a dynamic, evidence-based care model.
