Emergency Department — Travel RN

Decatur, GA | 13-Week Contract | Days

This Emergency Department position offers consistent day-shift hours in a fast-paced acute care setting. The unit manages a broad range of emergency presentations across all acuity levels, with occasional float coverage to the Clinical Decision Unit as needed.

Schedule & Hours

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
• Every other weekend required
• Start date: November 2, 2026

Clinical Scope

• Full-spectrum emergency nursing care across medical, surgical, and trauma presentations
• Float capability to the Clinical Decision Unit as needed
• High-acuity patient population requiring independent clinical judgment

Requirements

• Active Georgia RN license or valid compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local travelers are not eligible
