Radiologic Technologist – MRI
About the Role
The facility is seeking an MRI Technologist for night shift work in a busy outpatient imaging center. You'll perform MRI examinations across a wide range of anatomies and patient populations, including brain, spine, abdomen, breast, and soft tissue imaging. This role supports adult acute care and outpatient procedures with direct access to interpretation services, IV teams, and rapid response support.
Schedule & Duration
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (5 shifts, 8 hours each)
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Float Required: Yes
Requirements
- New York State radiologic technologist license (must be in hand at start)
- ARRT R certification and BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Strong proficiency with MRI systems and PACS
- Experience with advanced imaging techniques: gradient echo, diffusion imaging, perfusion studies, multiplanar reconstruction, and post-processing
- First-time travelers welcome
Patient Population
You'll work with adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatric patients across all body systems. Approximately 20 visits daily in a dedicated imaging room.
Location
Rochester, NY. Relocation required; local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted.
