Physical Therapist – Acute Care

Position Overview

The facility's inpatient physical therapy department is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join a dedicated, collaborative team. You'll work in an acute care environment with a diverse patient population, including high volumes of cardiac, vascular, and orthopedic cases.

Schedule & Logistics

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (flexible start between 7–8 AM)
• Duration: 56 weeks
• Hours: 40 guaranteed hours/week
• Weekends: One shift per month; self-selected scheduling
• Floating: You'll support all inpatient units and the ED as needed

Clinical Scope

You'll perform evaluations and treatment for patients across multiple floors. The department aims to keep daily assignments to 1–2 floors, promoting continuity of care. Vestibular experience is preferred but not required.

What You Need

• Active New Hampshire Physical Therapy License (required at time of application)
• BLS certification
• Acute care experience

Workspace

You'll have access to standard rehab equipment, including portable parallel bars, stairs, Sara Stedy, ceiling lifts, and hyper lifts. Documentation is performed in the facility's system.
