Position Overview
Join the operating room team for a day shift contract role. You'll work in a fast-paced surgical environment supporting general, hybrid, and trauma procedures.
Shift & Schedule
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 5 days per week
- 13-week contract
- Start date: October 19, 2026
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years OR nursing experience
- Current California RN license
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- COVID-19 vaccination required (no exemptions)
- Flu vaccination required
- Clean background (no DUI history)
Clinical Skills
Experience in general, hybrid, and trauma OR environments. You'll use the Paragon charting system (training provided).
Floating & Flexibility
You must be available to float to other units as needed, in accordance with facility floating policies and The Joint Commission standards. Appropriate orientation to new units will be provided.
Onboarding
You'll complete two required courses within your first 30 days: Assaultive Behavior and Fire Safety. Documentation is due two Mondays before your start date. Any time off must be approved at the time of submission; requests after an offer is extended will not be approved.
