Emergency Department Nurse

Shift & Duration

Day shift, 3x12-hour (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

13-week contract

Required Qualifications

• Current California RN license
• Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications in hand
• TNCC preferred

Position Overview

The facility's Emergency Department serves combined adult and pediatric patients across all acuity levels, including trauma cases. You'll provide direct patient care, manage admission workflows, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Charting & Systems

Paragon electronic health record (training provided)

Floating & Flexibility

You may be asked to float to other units in rotation based on clinical experience and facility need, with appropriate orientation provided.

Onboarding Requirements

You'll complete two mandatory courses within 30 days of your start date:

• Assaultive Behavior course
• Fire Card course

• Candidates with DUI background hits will not be considered
• Documentation due 2 Mondays prior to start date
