Emergency Department — Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for night shifts. You'll care for a mixed adult and pediatric population in a fast-paced, trauma-capable environment.

Shift & Schedule

• 3x12-hour nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Contract duration: 13 weeks
• Location: Los Angeles, CA
• Local candidates welcome

Requirements

• 2+ years of Emergency Department experience required
• Current California RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• TNCC certification preferred
• Trauma center experience a plus

Unit Details

You'll work in a high-acuity ED serving trauma and emergency patients across all age groups. Floating to other units may be required per hospital policy, with appropriate orientation provided.

Important Notes

• COVID-19 vaccination required; no exemptions
• Two onsite courses must be completed within 30 days of start: Assaultive Behavior and Fire Card
• Charting system: Paragon (training provided)
• Request any time off at the time of application; post-offer requests will not be approved
• Documentation due 2 Mondays before your start date
