Float Pool Registered Nurse – 12-Hour Nights

Position Overview

Join a float pool team providing nursing care across multiple inpatient units on the night shift. You'll rotate between medical-surgical, telemetry, stepdown, rehabilitation, and emergency department holding areas, bringing flexibility and broad clinical skills to a busy acute care setting.

Schedule & Duration

• 12-hour night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekends as scheduled (every other weekend requirement)
• 2 Fridays per schedule cycle
• 13-week contract, 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Self-scheduling and block scheduling supported

Required Certifications & Licensure

• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Current RN license

Clinical Scope

Floating & Orientation

Float assignments determined by census and unit needs. Floor-specific orientation: one shift with a preceptor.

Dress Code

Navy blue scrubs; navy jackets if worn.

Staffing Support

Charge nurse, hospitalist in-house 24/7, respiratory therapy 24/7, and pharmacy 24/7 available.
