Emergency Room RN — San Antonio, TX | 13-Week Contract

The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in the San Antonio, TX area. This is a fast-paced ER environment managing a broad range of acute presentations, including sepsis, stroke (TPA administration), chest pain, behavioral health, and respiratory emergencies.

Shift Details

• 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• On-call requirements apply

Clinical Scope

• Conscious sedation participation
• Intubation assistance
• Behavioral health monitoring
• Sepsis and stroke management, including TPA administration
• Chest pain / cardiac alert protocols

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ER experience
• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• ACLS, BLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS — all required

Preferred Qualifications

• CEN certification
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Float Policy

All travelers are required to float per facility policy. This will be discussed during the interview process.

Dress Code

• Scrubs: Navy; undershirts and jackets in white, navy, or black only
• No acrylic nails; hair must be off shoulders, natural color
• Visible piercings limited to ears; tattoos covered whenever possible
